Naperville, IL - Timbertech Decking, Railings and Stairs
This customer decided to replace their aging wooden deck with composite decking because it offers significantly lower maintenance and greater long-term value than traditional wood. They were tired of annual sanding, staining, and sealing, and wanted a surface that resists fading, splintering, rot, and insect damage while keeping its appearance with only occasional cleaning. Composite decking also provided a wider range of colors and finishes that mimic natural wood without the upkeep, improved slip and stain resistance for safer outdoor living, and a longer warranty—making it a smart investment that enhances curb appeal and reduces time and money spent on upkeep. During the project, the old boards were removed, the underlying structure inspected and reinforced where needed, and the composite boards installed with hidden fasteners for a clean, modern look that complements the home.
